anxious

Ever to fit
in a box
made of crumbs,
soaked in the mercy
of dishes last night.

Jupiter's Eyes

Why must my busy mind meld my life so?
Be it such a curse,
to grow an opinion
on the wildest daydream
I had ever imagined?
Be it insane
to then, write a book
on the physically studied world
which I had began?
Maybe
when my spirit rebirths
through the eye of my inner being,
I will be a moth;
Free
as the energy
that I am.

The Free World's Sweet Lies

Cold. I am broken pieces of you.
Solidity never modified to feel
anything more than that which is.
I long to be what is not.
So tender and chilled, my hearts beat.
I have waited forever for the practicality
of nothing.

The reality that I am so much less
than what I had imagined,
than what is real.
I strangle each confession, believing it.
Tasting the succulents I am told are sweet.
Biting into them to find molded over
remnants of what may once have been
so very saccharine.

Oh, I wish to be
all I may be;
Every, that you are not of.
& let the seedlings sprout inside my spirit;
To grow something more wondrous than I.
Harvesting it for you,
so you may feed,
lapping the sugar
I have told you is sweet.

His Majesty

There is somewhere
God is hiding, cowardly.
Left ghosts to dirt
smothering their filthy souls.
Guilty from the Earth the maker had grown.
Temptation planted,
left hungry hearts to feed on poison.
Eat, children.
Taste the guilt.
Consume damned toxin,
inhale the spill.

His majesty has fled,
leaving his children

so ill.

Theory And The Big Bang

There is no one.
There never has been.

The aisles dark, roads set to gloom.
A face buried in itself
crying
"wolf, wolf!"
...
but no one came.
For no one was there to come.

Until from the shadows slithered a tongue,
& once upon a time
a creature arrived.
Not a simple someone, but a whole something.
Bursting through the moth's dust
bringing light to this place;

You were blinding -

My eyes!
Never had a pain felt so sweet.

You came
to end all ends
and begin here,
with something new, called 'us'

For, we sit among the gloom
yet, it not feel so dark
now that I share this place with you.
